Career and Background

My journey into photography and videography began at the age of 16, when I took my first class in high school. I was immediately drawn to the creative expression and storytelling behind the craft, and from that moment, I knew I wanted to pursue it as a career. I sought out every opportunity to learn, shadowing professionals and taking on freelance projects until I was able to step into the industry full-time. Early in my career, I had the privilege of working alongside Emmy Award–winning directors and producers, which introduced me to the world of documentary filmmaking. That experience shaped my creative perspective and ultimately became a core focus of my work, as I contributed to documentary productions with respected professionals in the field. I earned my Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University in Television, Film, and New Media, with an emphasis in Production. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and was offered a position with a video-based startup in Encinitas, California. There, I advanced from Lead Editor to Creative Manager, gaining valuable experience in both production and team leadership. I later joined a marketing agency in Vista, California, where I continued to grow professionally, serving as Creative Director, then Vice President of Operations and Executive Producer. In these roles, I led creative strategy, production, and operational initiatives across a wide range of projects. Currently, I serve as the Lead Generating Specialist and Content Producer for a San Diego-based small business, combining strategic marketing with creative execution to drive growth and engagement.
